What's New?
July 2008: This month's Word Catalyst Magazine columnn: "Relative Excessivity"
June 2008 Oh my! Little Ponies! Well, I have to say this is news, although not writing related. But it's got all kinds of writing related ideas galloping around in my head. Went to a My Little Pony Fair, at the request of my kid, last weekend. ![]() says it all! Here, if you're a fan (which apparently many 20-somethings are, if the size of the fair is any indication!) is a nice, sharp, wallpaper worthy image: Or you can right click on the little image on this page to save a 350kb image. June 2008: Word Catalyst Magazine invited me to be a monthly columnist! What a nice honor! Beginning with the June issue, each month you, too, may be privy (at your own risk) to my innermost thoughts when you read "Just Thinkin' Out Loud". First up: "The Opening Bell" May 2008: Wow! Look at the cover art for "Twilight Whispers"!! The artist is Tara West. Didn't she do a terrific job? I've added an excerpt and a downloadable bookmark. Check it all out! More good news in May, Word Catalyst Magazine has included my short story "Jackson's Treasure" in their May 2008 issue. While you're there, don't miss the other wonderful writers, poets, photographers and artists on WCM. April, 2008: "Twilight Whispers", my Christmas-themed light paranormal romance set in Bucks County, PA, has been contracted to The Wild Rose Press for their Faery Rose line as a "Rosette" (this refers to stories with a word count between 1,750 and 12,500 words. "Twilight Whispers" is about 11,000 words). It will be available as a download at a date TBA, probably near the holidays. Check back for updates, blurbs, excerpts and contests! February 2007: "Cup of Comfort for Parents of Children with Autism" is availalable now for purchase! Check out the Cup of Comfort page for details. January 2007: Check out my Cup of Comfort page to see the cover art, table of contents, and ordering information. A dollar of each sale made through my website will benefit a local Autism Spectrum support group. Coming in March 2007: Nan's essay "Word Games" will be published in "A Cup of Comfort for Parents of Children with Autism". As a football fan, I'm thrilled to add that Doug Flutie, the NFL quarterback, whose son is autistic, has written the forward!
February 2005: But Mom, everybody else has one!
